17th Film Festival Win for Lesley Manning’s Short Film HELP!

Lesley Manning directed and edited the 2 min 2019 short HELP, which was written by HB Lyle and produced by Annalise Davis.

The film stars Julie Hesmondhalgh as a woman struggling to gain attention as she begs for help, in a poignant message about climate change.

Most recently, Help won the Best Micro-Short Film award at the Sense Tokyo Film Festival. The film was also nominated for Best Editor (Lesley Edited) and Best Original Concept at the festival.

This is the 17th Festival win for HELP, with previous wins including Best Indie Short at the Vegas Movie Awards and Best Micro-Short Film at the London International Film Festival.
