Colin MacDonald has adapted Lamentation, the sixth and final book in C.J. Sansom’s highly successful Shardlake series featuring the outsider lawyer, Matthew Shardlake. His previous adaptations – Sovereign, Dissolution, Dark Fire, Revelation and Heartstone all received rave reviews. Lamentation has been selected as a CHOICE in this week’s Radio Times and Pick of The Week in the Sunday Times.
Episode One of Lamentation will be broadcast on Monday 18th January at 10.45am (and repeated again at 7.45pm) on BBC Radio Four. The next episodes will be broadcast on nine consecutive weekdays, finishing on Wednesday 27th January.
