Colin MacDonald’s compelling ten-part adaptation of CJ Sansom’s Heartstone will be broadcast on BBC Radio 4 from Monday 1st January for ten consecutive week days at 10.45 and at 19.45. It’s the fifth Shardlake novel that Colin has adapted – and the radio series now has a huge following. Starring Justin Salinger and Bryan Dick, it has been Pick of the Day in The Independent, The Observer, The Times, the Daily Mail and The Daily Telegraph, whose Gillian Reynolds said: “Totally gripping. Every episode a winner.” All the series are available on download and on cd.
Colin is currently working on “Paradise”, a feature film for producer Peter Broughan (Rob Roy, The Flying Scotsman).
