FIRST TOUCH written by Nathaniel Price at Nottingham Playhouse Theatre from 7th – 21st May

Nathaniel Price’s first original full-length play First Touch premieres at the Nottingham Playhouse from Saturday 7th to Saturday the 21st of May 2022.

Inspired by recent football abuse scandals, First Touch follows 17 year old Clayton James as he navigates hopes of a promising football career with the realities of racism and hooliganism in the late 1970s. When a powerful former coach returns after years away, Clayton is forced to confront painful memories of his past. First Touch is a gripping and heartfelt drama about what it takes to fulfil your dreams.

Nathaniel television credits include Tin Star, Noughts & Crosses and Outlaws. He is currently working on a number of original television commissions and adaptations for the screen.
