Gillian Freeman

More sad news.

Gillian Freeman, novelist, screenwriter and more, died on February 23. She was 89. Gillian was my first client when I started the agency in 1984.

Gillian wrote the screenplay for Robert Altman’s 1969 movie THAT COLD DAY IN THE PARK and worked for years with Altman on trying to realise An Easter Egg Hunt from her novel.

The Kenneth Macmillan ballet MAYERLING, for which Gillian wrote the scenario, continues to play in the repertoire of The Royal Ballet and at theatres around the world.
