Yaz has directed three episodes of HOLLYOAKS for Lime Pictures/Channel 4 – his first television credit.
All three episodes will be available to watch on All4.
Yaz completed a Sky Shadowing programme on The Rising in 2021, and his short films include An Admin Worker At The End Of The World, a short drama about isolation and inaction, comedy None of the Above, and Ruth, a silent one-take ghost story.
Yaz has also directed theatre across the world – projects range from Boris: World King to ground-breaking all female productions of Shakespeare’s Othello and Titus Andronicus. His production of Joe Sellman-Leava’s Fanboy will be playing at The Pleasance Dome in Edinburgh throughout August 2022.
Yaz works with his brother Haz as Brother Brother, and makes up one third of theatre company Three’s Company.
