Jeff Murphy has been nominated for a Welsh BAFTA for Best Writer for his episode of Hinterland / Y Gwyll. The Fiction Factory dual-language crime drama has received nine nominations for the 2014 British Academy Cymru Awards, including Best Actress, Best Actor and Best Fiction Director.
Jeff’s episode is his first television credit. He has just completed the first episode of the second series of Hinterland, which is now shooting. He has recently delivered a first draft of feature Men of Harlech for Acme Films/Film Agency Wales. Other features include Denmark (BBC Films/Severn Screen/Film Agency Wales) and Moifaa (Liberty Films Wellington New Zealand/Severn Screen/Film Agency Wales). He is developing several original TV series ideas.
