Stephen Leslie’s short film To Leech is screening in the Laugh: The Best Medicine Programme at the London Film Festival on the 12th and 14th of October 2013.
To Leech is written and directed by Stephen, and stars Jason Watkins, Alex Macqueen and Julian Rhind-Tutt.
Stephen has recently written Severance II for Dan Films and is writing Bollywoof for Newscope Films. His original drama The Split is in development with Mammoth Screen for ITV1. His feature Flutter (producer Sarah Boote – cast includes Billy Zane, Joe Anderson and Max Brown) premiered at Raindance in 2011 and won Best Screenplay at the British Independent Film Festival. To Leech was awarded full funding from the BFI under the BFI/Lighthouse Initiative.
