Manjinder Virk’s short film Out of Darkness, winner of Best Drama and Best of Festival at the Aesthetica Short Film Festival 2013, starring Tom Hiddleston, Christine Bottomley, Andrew Gower and Riz Ahmed is now available on Vimeo On Demand.
Out of Darkness deals with the impact, devastation and experience of death as an aid worker’s story is told through nine separate voices. It was screened in the ‘Love Will Conquer All’ Programme at the London Film Festival in October 2013.

Manjinder has recently completed an episode of Jamillah and Aladdin for Kindle/CBBC. She co-wrote sitcom Being Jane Brown with Richard Lazarus and developed a biopic treatment on Benazir Bhutto for Mammoth Screen.
