Anu Menon

Anu graduated in 2007 from the London Film School with a rare distinction. She has since made four movies and an Amazon TV series.

Her graduation films Ravi goes to school and Fock Helen and Harry travelled to many film festivals receiving critical acclaim.

She made her first feature film, a Bollywood romantic comedy called London Paris New York, produced by Fox Star Studios. It released in March 2012 to commercial and critical success.

Her second film Waiting, is an indie film starring Naseeruddin Shah, one of the most revered actors in Indian cinema and Kalki Koechlin, an award winning actress. It premiered at Dubai International Film Festival in Dec 2015 and was released in India on 27th May 2016.

Anu directed the ten-part series Four More Shots Please! for Amazon India, which was nominated for a 2020 International Emmy Award, and directed the biopic drama Shakuntala Devi available on Amazon Prime Video. The movie Motive (Neeyat) was released summer 2023.  Anu directed block two of Killing Eve Series 4, the last block of The Winter King and is directing the final episodes (9 and 10) of The Day of the Jackal starring Eddie Redmayne.  Carnival Films are producing for NBC/Sky.

She is writing a movie Two of Us for producers Sarah Sulick and Eve Gabareau.  Anu is also attached to direct Meera Syal’s film funded by the BFI and Film Nation’s Runaway Bride. 

Anu is based in London.
