Roy’s new play Degenerate, about the German expressionist painter Emil Nolde and Billy Wilder the US film director, has been optioned by JK Productions.
Roy co-created New Tricks which ran on BBC1 for 12 series. Gina Cronk produced the 90’ pilot and first series for Wall to Wall. Roy wrote on every series and created new characters when each member of the original cast left.
Roy co-created Thief Takers (three series for ITV) and Back Up for BBC2 (2 series).
He wrote the 2002 feature film Semana Santa, also known as Angel of Death.
