Mark Oswin has written on CBBC shows Supertato, Jinx, Hotel Trubble, 4 O’Clock Club, The Revolting World of Stanley Brown, Strange Hill High, Hank Zipzer, All At Sea, Danger Mouse, and So Awkward. He co-created Riddleswick with Lucy Guy and Julia Kent for CBBC. He also co-created the BAFTA-winning CBBC online mystery drama Dixi. He wrote Placebo for BBC3, co-wrote Comedy Lab Skin Deep for Channel 4, and wrote and performed on the BBC2 sketch show Comedy Nation. He has written for ITV on Horrible Science, for Boomerang on My Spy Family, and for Nickelodeon on Summer In Transylvania, Hunter Street and Goldie’s Oldies – on which he is lead writer. He also provided additional writing on 2020 feature film Four Kids and It.
Mark was BAFTA nominated in 2014 for 4 O’Clock Club, 2015 for All At Sea and again in 2017 for Hank Zipzer. He was nominated for WGGB Awards in 2015 for Strange Hill High and in 2017 for Danger Mouse.
Mark’s recent work includes writing three episodes of the new Aardman series Lloyd of the Flies, co-writing two scripts of The Sherlock Legacy for Gaumont TV and writing a script of Gangsta Granny for King Bert Productions. He wrote the pilot script for Bjorn Horn, a new children’s comedy series for Rebel Television/CBBC.
