Nick Perry’s first play Arrivederci Millwall won the 1986 Samuel Beckett Award. His other plays include Smallholdings (1986) and Near Cricket St Thomas, 1919 (1997). His feature script The Escapist was produced by Sky Pictures in 2001. TV credits include Clubland (1991) and Superbomb (2007).
Nick is currently writing a stage play based on his popular BBC R4 adaptation of Daniel Defoe’s Moll Flanders, for the Touring Consortium Co. The radio play TX’d July 2016 and starred Jessica Hynes and Ben Miles. Nick’s sequel to his five-part original radio drama November Dead List on BBC R4 TX’d January 2016. Other radio credits include adaptations The Shootist starring Brian Cox, He Died With His Eyes Open and Jack’s Return Home, original dramas The Confidential Agent, London Bridge and Referee for BBC R4, Planet B for BBC7 and The Loop which won Bronze at the Sony Radio Awards.
