Born in Liverpool and now living in Brighton, it was Frank’s interest in history that led him into research work for film and television companies on projects such as Plunkett and Macleane and Elizabeth.
Moving into writing and developing his own ideas, Frank wrote for Working Title Films, Kasander Films, Film Four, and BBC Drama amongst others.
Frank is currently writing for Doctors (BBC) and has written episodes of Casualty, Shameless, Holby City, The Bill, River City and Red Rock.
Frank is currently working on two projects with LA Productions, both based on real events – Rose & Balmer and Kathy Kirby.
