Moving into writing and developing his own ideas, Frank wrote for Working Title Films, Kasander Films, Film Four, and BBC Drama amongst others.
Frank has written episodes of Casualty, Shameless, Holby City, The Bill, River City for BBC Scotland, Red Rock (TV3/BBC1/Element) and Doctors (BBC1). He also completed story documents for a two-part episode of Suspects II for Newman Street/C5.
Frank has written the first episode of original series Devine Intervention and has delivered treatments for two new original series to Runaway Fridge: Blackrock (co-written with Olivia Aubry) and Graveland, for which he has written a first episode. Working alongside writer Richard Lazarus, Frank developed and wrote episodes of two original sitcoms Shiny Happy People and The Frontline.
