Abigail Rolling

Abigail has been chained to a radiator in her local Magistrates’ Court for almost thirty years, now working freelance as a Criminal Defence Consultant. She was born in Sheffield and now lives in Barnsley.

After a few forays into TV and radio drama, Abigail developed a legal comedy, Justice, with Vera Productions/C4.

In 2021, Abigail was selected by writer Chris Lang to develop a brand new drama pilot, The Truth, as part of the 2021-22 cohort, for a TV Mentoring Scheme with ScreenSkills and Dancing Ledge Productions.

Other projects include a new dark comedy drama Wilde exploring the power of religious fervour, cancel culture and the madness of love.

When she’s not soliciting, Abigail is performing her stand-up show Sh*t Lawyer’ which debuted at the Edinburgh Fringe 2022 to sell out audiences. By popular demand she has a mini tour of the show in 2023 to almost every corner of Great Britain, from Glasgow to Islington – Barnsley to Brighton.
