Ep48 and Ep51 of Doctors S23, written by Paul Campbell and Frank Rickarby respectively, will TX next week on BBC1.

Ep48 ‘Incurable’,written by Paul Campbell, will TX on Monday 23rd May at 1:45pm. The episode follows Emma as she goes on a flight of fancy when examining two men. Karen helps Valerie through the evening, and Jimmi and Maeve encounter problems with the fuse box.

Ep51 ‘The Centre Cannot Hold’, written byFrank Rickarby, will TX on Thursday 26th May at 1:45pm. This episode follows Ruhma in her attempt to help Valerie battle her demons. Daniel and Zara deal with an unexpected domestic incident, while Maeve and Jimmi go on their first date which doesn’t quite go to plan.

Paul is a regular writer for Doctors. He has also written for Casualty, Holby City and EastEnders. Paul received a Wellcome Trust Broadcast Development Award to support the development of his TV drama, Madhouse.

Frank’s series credits include Casualty, ShamelessRiver City and Red Rock. Frank also wrote original R4 Afternoon Play Baring Up, and original pilot Police and Thieves, about police corruption in 1950’s Liverpool, both inspired by true stories.  Police and Thieves is optioned to LA Productions.
