In the latest collaboration between BBC Arts and the Royal Shakespeare Company, Indra Bhose has directed the RSC’s Much Ado About Nothing for screen. It will tx on BBC Four this Sunday 3rd April at 8pm.
Roy Alexander Weise directed the stage play, which ran at Stratford Upon Avon in March 2022, setting Shakespeare’s much-loved comedy in an imagined future reality.
With Akiya Henry as Beatrice and Luke Wilson as Benedick, Indra’s screen directed production will be available to watch on iPlayer for 12 months after airing.
Indra’s previous credits include dramas in Bangladesh, Mumbai, Abu Dhabi, and Albert Square! Indra also directed the live musical, Bollywood Carmen, performed on the streets of Bradford.
